Terms of use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Google Shopping Feed by Wolvi. Installing the app from a marketplace means you accept them, and Annex A at the end of this page is the data processing agreement between us.

1. Who you are agreeing with

The agreement is between you, the merchant who installs the app, and Wolvi Apps ("we", "us"), a trading name used by an independent business based in Warabi-shi, Saitama, Japan.

It starts when you install the app and lasts until the app is removed. The marketplace you installed from has its own terms with you; those stay in force alongside these, and where a marketplace rule conflicts with a term here, the marketplace rule wins for anything it covers.

The service is sold for business use. If you are a consumer under the law of your own country, nothing here takes away rights that law gives you and cannot be waived.

2. What the app does

Google Shopping Feed by Wolvi reads your store catalog, builds the feed files you configure for the shopping channels you choose, hosts those files, and rebuilds them when your products change. It gives you a URL for each feed, which you give to the channel.

The app does not sell for you, does not place your products on any channel for you, and does not speak to a channel on your behalf. Whether a channel accepts a feed, keeps a product in it, or approves your account there is entirely that channel's decision, made under its own rules.

3. Plans, billing and refunds

The app has a free plan and paid plans. All billing runs through the marketplace you installed from, under its payment terms. We never see or hold your card details, cannot charge you directly, and cannot refund you directly.

  • Prices, currency and tax handling are whatever the marketplace shows at the point of purchase.
  • Changing or cancelling a plan happens in the same marketplace, and takes effect on the terms published there.
  • Refund requests follow the marketplace's refund policy. We will support a request that is fair, but we cannot issue the money ourselves.

Removing the app stops the service. If you are on a paid plan, cancel it in the marketplace as well, because a subscription there is not ended by uninstalling.

4. What you are responsible for

  • Having the right to publish everything in your catalog: text, images, brands and identifiers.
  • What goes into each feed, and whether it complies with the policies of the channel receiving it. Channels have their own rules about prohibited products, claims, pricing and images, and those rules are between you and them.
  • The accuracy of prices, stock and availability you publish through a feed.
  • Keeping your store account and your marketplace account secure.
  • Telling us, through the support address, if you think a feed is exposing something it should not.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, sublicense or rent the app, or run it as a service for stores that are not yours without a written agreement with us;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract source code, except where the law says you may;
  • work around plan limits, or create several accounts to avoid them;
  • load the service in a way designed to degrade it for other merchants, or probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us first;
  • use the app to publish unlawful products, stolen content or data you have no right to publish.

6. Feed URLs

A feed URL is readable by any request that has it, because the channel fetching it is a machine and is not signed in. It carries a long random identifier and is published nowhere, but it is not protected by a password. You decide what goes into a feed, so you decide what that URL exposes. The privacy policy explains this in more detail.

We may regenerate a feed at a new URL at your request, or if we have reason to think the old one is being abused. We will tell you when we do.

7. Your data and what you let us do with it

Your catalog and your settings stay yours. You give us a limited license to store, copy, transform and transmit that data only as far as is needed to run the service for you: building your feeds, hosting them, serving them to the channels you chose, keeping backups, and answering your support messages.

That license ends when the app is removed, apart from the deletion window and the backup cycle described in the privacy policy. We do not use your data to train models, to build a dataset across merchants, or for advertising.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service and your feed URLs available continuously, and we work on faults as a first priority. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage, and we are not offering a service level agreement with credits unless we have signed one with you.

Support is by email at support@wolviapps.com, Monday to Friday, with a reply within one business day. The free plan and the paid plans get the same support, for as long as the app is published.

Maintenance that needs the service to stop will be announced in advance by email where there is time to do so.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its code, its channel templates, its documentation and the Wolvi Apps name and logo belong to us. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you; you get the right to use the app while your installation is live.

Channel, platform and marketplace names used in the app and on this website are the trademarks of their owners, used to say which channel a template is for. Their use does not mean any of them endorses or is affiliated with us.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

In particular, we do not promise that:

  • a channel will accept your feed, keep accepting it, or approve your account there;
  • a channel will not change its own specification, which can make a working feed stop working until the template is updated;
  • sales will follow from publishing a feed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost revenue, lost sales or lost data, however it arises.

Our total liability under this agreement, for all claims taken together, is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose, or 100 US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud.

12. Suspension, termination and discontinuation

You can end this agreement at any time by removing the app, and by cancelling the subscription in the marketplace if you have one.

We may suspend or end your access if you break section 5, if your use puts the service or other merchants at risk, or if we are required to by a marketplace or by law. Except for a serious or unlawful breach, we will write to you first and give you a chance to put it right.

We may also discontinue the app, a plan or a channel template. Unless a marketplace or the law forces a faster stop, we will email the address we hold for your store at least 30 days before the service stops, and we will not take payment for any period after it stops.

When the agreement ends, your data is deleted on the schedule in the privacy policy: within 30 days, with feed URLs stopping immediately.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and for a change that materially affects you we will email the address we hold for your store at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that is acceptance; if you do not accept, remove the app.

14. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Japan, and the courts of Japan have jurisdiction over disputes about it. If mandatory law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim there, that right is unaffected.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, Annex A and the terms of the marketplace you installed from are the whole agreement about the app, and they replace anything said before it.
  • Severability. If a court sets part of these terms aside, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a term once does not give it up.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to whoever takes over the app, on the same terms, and we will tell you when that happens.
  • Force majeure. Neither side is liable for a delay caused by something outside its control, such as a platform outage, a network failure or a legal order.
  • Notices. We write to the email address the marketplace holds for your store. You write to support@wolviapps.com, which is also where a legal notice reaches us.
  • Survival. Sections 9, 10, 11 and 14, and the deletion duties in Annex A, outlive the end of this agreement.

Annex A: data processing terms

This annex is the data processing agreement between us. It forms part of the agreement from the moment you install the app, and it applies to any personal data inside your catalog, your store account and your support messages. Terms used here have the meaning given in the GDPR.

A1. Roles

You are the controller of the personal data in your store. We are your processor and act only on your instructions, which are the instructions you give through the app's own settings, the agreement and these terms. If you are yourself a processor for someone else, we are a sub-processor and this annex applies in the same way.

A2. Subject matter, duration, nature and purpose

Subject matter: providing Google Shopping Feed by Wolvi. Duration: while the app is installed, plus the deletion window in A8. Nature and purpose: reading your catalog, building and hosting feed files, serving them to the channels you configure, diagnosing faults and answering your support messages.

A3. Categories of data and data subjects

Data subjects: the store owner and the staff who use the app, and any individual whose personal data appears in a catalog field. Categories: business contact data (name, email address of the installing user), the store address, access tokens, the catalog fields listed in the privacy policy, and the content of support messages. No special category data is requested or needed, and the app does not read orders or customer records.

A4. Our obligations

  • Process personal data only on your instructions, and tell you if we believe an instruction breaks data protection law.
  • Keep it confidential, and bind everyone with access to the same duty.
  • Apply the security measures in A6.
  • Help you answer requests from data subjects, and help you with data protection impact assessments and with consultations with a supervisory authority, as far as the data we hold allows.
  • Tell you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data, with the information you need to meet your own notification duties.
  • Make available the information needed to show compliance with this annex, and allow an audit under A7.

A5. Sub-processors

You give general written authorization for us to use the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy, currently our hosting and database provider, Amazon Web Services, Google Analytics, Crisp, Canny and Customer.io. That page says what each of them does and where it is. We impose data protection obligations on each of them that are no less protective than this annex, and we stay responsible to you for what they do.

We will update that list before adding or replacing a sub-processor. You may object on reasonable data protection grounds within 14 days of the update; if we cannot offer an alternative, you may end the agreement and stop paying for the unused part of your plan.

A6. Security measures

Our technical and organizational measures are:

  • encryption of data in transit, including between the app and its database;
  • no long-lived store password or token held at rest: the app asks the platform for a short-lived permission when it needs one;
  • access to production systems limited to the people who operate it, over named accounts with multi-factor authentication;
  • logging of administrative access;
  • separate credentials for the production environment, with access limited to the people who operate it;
  • backups of the database, held by the provider named in the privacy policy;
  • patching of the operating system and dependencies on the published support cycle;
  • deletion of data on the schedule in A8.

A7. Audits and information

On reasonable written notice, and no more than once a year unless a supervisory authority or a breach requires otherwise, we will answer a reasonable questionnaire about the measures in A6 and provide evidence of them. Audits must not disrupt the service or expose another merchant's data.

A8. Return and deletion

While the app is installed you can download the product list of each feed from inside the app, and ask us at the support address for a copy of your settings and mappings. When the app is removed, your catalog data, settings and feed files are deleted within 30 days, and feed URLs stop answering immediately. Copies in backups are removed as the backup cycle overwrites them. We keep nothing else, except what the law requires us to keep.

A9. International transfers

We are in Japan and the feed files are stored in the United States, so personal data moves out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

For those transfers the parties adopt the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission in Decision 2021/914, which are incorporated into this annex by reference, with:

  • Module Two where you are a controller, and Module Three where you are a processor acting for someone else;
  • the docking clause in Clause 7 applying;
  • Option 2 of Clause 9(a) applying, with the 14 days' notice in A5;
  • the optional redress clause in Clause 11(a) not applying;
  • Ireland as the governing law under Clause 17 and the forum under Clause 18(b);
  • Annex I, II and III of the clauses filled in by A2, A3, A5 and A6 of this annex, with you as data exporter and us as data importer, and the contact point on each side being the address in the agreement and support@wolviapps.com.

So the clauses themselves are governed by Irish law, because the clauses require the law of an EU member state; everything else in these terms is governed by Japanese law under section 14.

Where the UK GDPR applies, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to those clauses applies as well, with the same choices. Where Swiss law applies, references to the GDPR are read as references to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner is the competent authority.

A10. Order of precedence

If this annex conflicts with the rest of these terms, this annex wins for anything about personal data. If the Standard Contractual Clauses conflict with this annex, the clauses win. Nothing in section 11 limits our liability under Clause 12 of those clauses, which cannot be capped.
